Controlled Arts is a fashion label based in Ghana. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. Controlled Arts is responsible for the information described here.

What we collect

The only thing we ask you for is your email address, when you sign up for drop alerts through the "Notify Me" popup or the footer newsletter form.

When you subscribe, our system also records the IP address and browser user-agent of the request, together with the time you signed up. We keep these to confirm consent, prevent spam and abuse of the signup form, and keep our list clean. We do not build profiles from them.

This site has no accounts, no shopping cart, and no online checkout, so we do not collect payment card details, shipping addresses, or order history through it.

How we use it

We use your email only to send you drop alerts and brand updates you asked for. We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.

Third-party services we use

Running the site and its emails relies on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare: hosts the site and stores the subscriber list (email, signup time, IP, user-agent) in a Cloudflare database.
• Resend: delivers our emails, such as the welcome message and drop alerts. Your email address is shared with Resend so it can send to you.
• Google Fonts: the site's typefaces load from Google's servers, which may receive your IP address when the page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed. The IP address and user-agent recorded with a signup are kept only for anti-abuse purposes and removed when they're no longer needed. When you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you, and we delete your details on request.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, so there's no consent banner. The only browser storage we use keeps the site working (remembering the intro animation and whether you've already subscribed). See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

Your rights & unsubscribing

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority (in Ghana, the Data Protection Commission).
